Acoustics in public spaces
With the definition public spaces is intended all those places that can host many people into a single place.
Auditoriums, cinemas and theaters, meeting rooms, conference rooms, waiting rooms, sports and multifunctional centers are included in this list.
Generally, all these places have particular architectural features, such as open spaces and big volumes.
The combination of these dimensional features and the common use of reflective materials and surfaces, generally creates acoustic problems, if it’s not supposed a specific acoustic treatment that can control the sound diffusion.
In fact, in these situations, acoustic conditions are not good, because the noises generated from the single sound sources, are added and amplified by the effect of the Reverberation, the multiple reflections generated by all surfaces.
In such an architectural configuration, an acoustically unfavorable condition is generated, whereby the noise of the individual environmental sound sources is amplified and amplified by the effect of the Reverb phenomenon, that is, the multiple reflections generated by all surfaces.
ACOUSTICLAB™ has a wide range of products for the acoustic treatment of large spaces, with standard and design solutions, suitable for many kinds of existing architectural context.
